In Corpus Christi, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across Texas vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 7:30 am–5 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (361) 815-1030. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 9 reviews, which is a strong result for an auto machine shop in Corpus Christi and suggests consistent service.

Corpus Christi is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Corpus Christi follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Always a quick turn around. I have had brought Rick about 4 sets of heads and have not had any issues. Very reasonable pricing as well.

Super fast turn around for my WRX heads to get redecked and resurfaced. Also got the Spark Plug spots retapped. Will come back again for any future machine shop needs. Thanks!

Dropped off a cylinder head for new valves and general rebuild. I explained very thoroughly the vehicle was a purpose built track car when I dropped the head off. I was called later in the day and told by the owner he was going to refuse to work on the head because he didn't want to be held liable if the engine fails. He told me he did not want to get sued since it was a performance head for a racecar. I tried to tell him over the phone that I would not sue anyone, racecar engines blow up all the time. He still refused the work. I went to pick the head up and find that the head is fully disassembled all the parts in bags, why would you disassemble if you already knew the cylinder head was for a performance motor? If you don't do performance work then say so up front. Don't call your customer after the fact and tell them you are scared of a lawsuit after you already tore the head down.
